Reborn is completely free to play, but that doesn’t mean that it is open to everyone. First of all, players have to be at least 15 years of age – in fact most RIC players are aged over thirty.

Next, game play is progressed through written instructions from players to their game master. So RIC is not really for people who aren’t confident communicators in English.

Playing a campaign will typically require you to devote about two hours a month for reading and writing – with a certain amount of time pondering the merits of certain courses of action. There is plenty of resource material that you can spend hours reviewing, so RIC isn’t for you if you’re looking for thirty minutes of recreational gaming every now and then.

There is plenty of action and suspense in RIC, but it is predominantly about exploring your character, wrestling with a mystery, and trying to survive.

There is plenty of terrific artwork and imagery in RIC, but that’s just to enhance the words and ideas in your round… this isn’t a fps or a mmorpg with avatars.
